Aaron Weintraub, Executive Director

Aaron joined CLICC as a Family Specialist in 2023 with over thirty years of experience in supporting families and children. Aaron has three children of his own, An adult daughter and two teenage sons. Aaron has led CLICC since 2026.

Joy Haenlein, Executive DirectorJoy Haenlein joined CLICC in 2008 as a volunteer for her mentor and CLICC founder Arthur White. She has led CLICC since October 2014. Along with her colleague Landon Osborn, she has built CLICC from a program in two prisons and two communities to a statewide nonprofit serving parents in eight Connecticut prisons and their children and families across the state. She is especially proud of CLICC’s network of volunteers and mentors that includes students in criminal justice, social work, education, sociology from 14 Connecticut colleges and universities. A first-career journalist, with journalism degrees from Michigan State University and Northwestern University and nearly 30 years in that field, Joy serves on the boards of The Connecticut Mirror and the Connecticut Foundation for Open Government. She is grateful for CLICC the organization and the parents, caregivers and children she has met through it.
